The CenturyLink expansion included a Technical Center and a parking structure. The mid-rise Technical Center is a half-moon shaped structure with covered walkways connecting to the existing structure. The facility is a 3-story structure with a mechanical penthouse. The Center has a steel frame and a footprint of approximately 80,000 square feet.

The parking garage structure is a 5-story pre-cast concrete structure with double tee girders and a cast-in-place slab topping. Other improvements included a cafeteria expansion and a new access road which looped around the expansion area extending from CenturyLink Drive on the west side of the expansion and connecting back with CenturyLink Drive on the east side. The perimeter road is of asphaltic concrete and follows the general bank alignment along Bayou Desiard on the east side.

SE completed a comprehensive Geotechnical Investigation including 19 borings and 20 CPT soundings and provided foundation and pavement recommendations for the project. SE was also retained to provide full-time testing and inspection services using an on-site fully equipped testing laboratory.
