The project included a multiple phased anchored bulkhead installed along a portion of the east bank of Boat Slip C. The slip is about 700 feet wide and was excavated to a depth of 33 feet. The bulkhead is about 7,400 feet long and has tiebacks installed at about 3 feet below the surface. The wall is anchored using an A-frame, consisting of a 2-pre-cast concrete pile anchor system.

SE was retained to provide Geotechnical Engineering services during the design phase and pile dynamic testing during the construction phase. For our analysis, nine (9) borings and eight (8) CPT soundings were drilled along the bulkhead alignment to a depth of 100 to 120 feet.
