The development encompassed a single story retail structure fronting Girod Street utilizing the same brick façade. The mid-rise structure included 3 levels of parking and 6 levels of residential units. The superstructure is of cast-in-place concrete with a plan area of about 35,000 square feet. The building is supported on auger cast piles.

SE was engaged to provide Geotechnical Engineering services for the project. Four (4) borings were drilled to a depth of 125 feet inside of an existing historic structure. The building is supported on auger cast piles. In addition, SE provided materials testing and inspection services during construction.
