The project includes a 4-story structural steel framed Technical Center with a footprint of 70,000 square feet, and a 5-story pre-cast concrete parking structure with a footprint of about 100,000 square feet along with other ancillary structures.
SE provided geotechnical engineering services which included drilling 19 borings and advancing 19 CPT soundings to 90 feet. Associated laboratory testing was conducted on selected soil samples. Deep foundation recommendations were recommended for the super structures with shallow foundations for the ancillary structures. SE also provided testing and inspection services for the project through an on-site laboratory facility and dedicated technical personnel.
The project includes the construction of 800,000 square feet, dock high distribution center along with about 30 acres of concrete pavement. SE provided geotechnical engineering services and materials testing and inspection services for the project. A surcharge program was successfully completed and the structure was supported on a shallow foundation. The facility was completed in 2012. SE has been engaged again to provide geotechnical and material testing services for the 200,000 square foot expansion which is underway.
The project includes the construction of a 3-story steel framed structure and associated rigid pavement. The building is supported on 14” diameter auger cast piles, 40 feet deep. SE conducted the geotechnical investigation for the project. Four (4) deep borings were drilled to 100 feet along with several shallow borings in the parking areas and drives. Materials testing and inspection services were also provided for the project including the test pile program.
The project includes the construction of an 8-story mixed use residential structure which encompasses 3 levels of parking and 5 levels of residential units with some retail space at the ground level. The structure is supported on 16 inch diameter auger cast piles, 80 feet deep. SE conducted the geotechnical investigation for the project. Four (4) borings were drilled to a depth of 150 feet along with associated laboratory testing. SE conducted the pile load tests and will be providing testing and inspection services for the project.
